Strange Events Around Brian Burgess Christ Sculpture
Strange events are occuring around a new sculpture of Christ Cleansing the Temple, on display in the Liverpool Academy of Art on Merseyside, reports the Liverpool Daily Post.
The Post reports that the artist – sculptor Brian Burgess – says he is amazed at the public’s reaction to the work. People are flocking to worship at the statue after a woman repoorted an experience she had while in a trance as she knelt before it.
Although he derives much of his inspiration from the Bible, Mr Burgess is in fact an atheist. He also says that during the 3 years he worked on the piece, it dominated his life.
Which just goes to show …

What a fantabulous publish this has been. Never seen this kind of useful publish. I’m grateful to a person and expect more number of posts like these. Many thanks really much.
The benefits seem much more than the negatives so I’m willing to try at least to see if it’ll work for me.
This post is incredibly useful not just to me. who you wrote it for, but perhaps for up to a million other people and in the world. I will do my best to promote this widely. I hope every other reader of yours will do the same not just today but for weeks and perhaps even months. Thanks very, very much.
HI,
Well that was really a nice artwork because i have seen so many artist and their work but i have never seen any thing made by the metal. Very nice work keep it up and keep continue.
You too, Mate!
wow – very telling – Jesus a man’s man – no wimp, no whoosh, and all muscle, body, sould, spirti.
As far as trance, blah, blah, I don’t give a flip – I just know it rankles me when someone tries to make “merchandise of me’ – MY HOUSE shall be a HOUSE of prayer. The corruption should always be reacted to with this kind of artistically honest reaction to the thieves hanging out in God’s house!
Amen, Bro!!
